Apply to Write Questions for Our Assessments
We are seeking question writers for MOCA Minute® and some of our exams. Writers will be responsible for preparing multiple-choice questions from assigned content areas and will be paired with experienced question editors who will provide guidance and feedback. The application deadline is Aug. 31. Current question authors do not need to reapply.
Eligibility
Our question authors must have valid, unexpired certification in anesthesiology or the subspecialty for which they are seeking to write questions and must be actively participating in MOCA 2.0®. Additionally, they must not participate in activities that may constitute a conflict of interest, such as exam review courses for which a fee is charged.
What You’ll Need to Apply
You’ll submit an online application to provide two original assessment questions, demographic information and details on why you’d like to volunteer. If you are applying to write questions for both an exam and MOCA Minute, you’ll submit one sample question for each area.
You’ll need to complete the application all at once, so we’ve created a checklist of things you’ll need and question development tips.
