About
Setting standards and leading innovation for the practice of anesthesiology since 1938
Dr. Jones is chair of the Department of Anesthesiology at North Shore University Hospital. She previously served as the chair of and professor in the Department Anesthesiology at Albany Medical College. Past experience also includes serving as residency program director and vice-chair for Education at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
She is the immediate past president of the Society for Education in Anesthesia, the Editor-in-Chief for UpToDate Anesthesiology and co-editor of the 8th edition of Stoelting’s Anesthesia and Co-Existing Disease. Her clinical interests include the perioperative implications of obesity.
Dr. Jones serves on the following ABA committees:
Bylaws Committee, Continuing Certification Committee (chair), Credentialing Committee, MOCA Minute Committee, Resident Minute Pilot Development Task Force, Standardized Oral Exam Committee, Technology Task Force
