Kate Owenby, CPA, joined the American Board of Anesthesiology in 2018 as chief finance & business officer. Her vast experience in the financial realm and strong leadership style ensures we reach our financial goals while remaining committed to our nonprofit status. Additionally, Owenby oversees the daily management and financial operations of the ABA’s assessment center, the AIME Center. Prior to joining the ABA, Owenby was a partner at Rankin McKenzie, a financial leadership firm based in Cary, NC.
